Refined and very unique French Louis XV period piece of furniture, from the mid-18th century, an expression of the elegance and cabinetmaking mastery typical of French aristocratic production of the period.
The piece of furniture features a dynamic and harmonious structure in precious bois de violette, embellished with refined floral and geometric inlays in various wood essences, which create a sophisticated chromatic and decorative interplay of great scenic effect. The front is divided by an upper drawer and lower doors with shaped panels and threaded work, according to the rocaille taste typical of the Louis XV style.
Particularly valuable are the finely chased applications in gilded mercury bronze, present in the handles, escutcheons, sabots, and ornamental elements, a testament to the high quality of the work. The top is completed by an elegant shaped Rosa Peralba marble, perfectly integrated into the sinuous lines of the furniture.
A piece of furniture of great charm and presence, ideal for classic interiors, antique collections, or refined interior design contexts, where it can become the absolute protagonist of the space.
