The piece of furniture is distinguished by its sinuous and flowing lines. Technical and Construction Details Structure and Veneer: The front and sides feature a refined bombé shape, beautifully veneered in rosewood and bois de rose. The herringbone pattern creates a pleasing geometric play of opposing grain that enhances the wood's natural luminosity. Gilded Bronzes: The piece is richly adorned with gilt bronze applications, chiseled in full Rococo taste. The large handles shaped like leafy volutes, the finely crafted key escutcheons, the sabots on the feet, and the front and side aprons serve as visual structural elements of the highest decorative impact. Marble Top: The top is completed by a superb and solid shaped marble top, veined in shades of antique rose, gray, and white, with a "becco di civetta" (bullnose) edge that faithfully follows the curvilinear movement of the furniture.
