Empire Golden Lamp Bases 1700 Set of Four palm pot holders with a square base and a turned and carved body in Swiss pine wood, water-gilded in pure gold leaf on a red bole preparation. They are decorated only on the front, while the back is finished in Siennese yellow tempera. In good condition apart from minor losses compatible with the late 1700s dating. Of Italian provenance.
