Reindeer coat rack produced by Gavina
Designed by Bruce Tippett in 1965.
Structure in reinforced and painted ABS.
The top part is modular as desired.
The coat rack is a first edition from '65, as the original Gavina label is present.
In 1968, Gavina and its patents were sold to the American company Knoll International.
Bruce Tippett was a British artist highly appreciated for his paintings; he exhibited worldwide and major museums like MoMA acquired his works for their collections.
During his Roman residency, he designed the Reindeer coat rack, his only designed furniture piece, highly appreciated by collectors.
Gavina was a furniture company founded in 1960 by Dino Gavina, who entrusted its direction to Carlo Scarpa.
The coat rack has no structural defects and is in excellent preserved condition, with slight signs of age visible in the photos.
