Elegant Neapolitan Louis XV chest of drawers, made in the mid-18th century, in precious woods of kingwood and rosewood, finely inlaid with refined and harmonious taste. The curved lines, characteristic on both the front and the sides, fully express the rocaille style of the period.
The piece of furniture features two large drawers with gilt bronze handles and sabots, worked with great refinement, which further embellish the structure. The original Siena yellow marble top, with its warm natural veining, perfectly shaped to follow the sinuous movement of the body, completes the composition.
A fine example of Neapolitan high-class cabinetmaking of the 18th century, which combines aesthetic refinement and the artisanal mastery of the era.
