Italian display cabinet from the first half of the 20th century. Furniture with a shape and style typical of the 1930s and 1940s, carved and veneered in walnut and burl, with an ebonized walnut base. The display cabinet features two sliding glass doors and two fixed internal shelves, plus a shelf at the base. The sides of the cabinet are fitted with recessed glass panels for better visibility and illumination of the items inside.
A good-sized and functional piece, well-proportioned, it can easily be placed in various locations around the home. This low display cabinet with a wooden top is of a reasonable size and practicality. It can also be used as a small bookcase, a rare piece of furniture for antique dealers and interior decorators. It has recently undergone a conservative restoration, making it structurally sound and solid. In good condition.
