Elegant Italian Art Deco chest of drawers produced in Italy in the 1940s, with design attributable to Paolo Buffa.
The piece features a striking black lacquered structure with refined maple profiles framing the drawers. The drawer fronts are finished in beautiful parchment, creating a sophisticated contrast with the dark lacquer. Original brass handles and keys add warmth and elegance, while the top is completed with a black glass surface.
A particularly interesting detail is the drawer configuration: although the front appears to have nine small drawers, the interior is actually composed of three large drawers and three smaller ones, combining visual rhythm with practical storage.
An exceptional example of Italian craftsmanship and refined Art Deco design, perfect for both classic and contemporary interiors. Matching nightstands are also available, as shown in the last photo.
