Antique Edwardian era card case in 925 sterling silver, featuring a patented sliding opening mechanism (Needham's Patent). Produced by the renowned English silversmith company Henry Williamson Ltd. in the early 20th century (circa 1903). The ribbed section in the center acts as a sliding button to dispense the cards from the inside. Features rich and very fine engraving with floral motifs, foliate scrolls, and acanthus leaves typical of the style of the era.
