Highly refined hard porcelain sculpture depicting Marie Antoinette, Sèvres manufacture, 19th century.
The subject is represented with her face slightly turned and an absorbed gaze.
The decorative apparatus is very refined, in particular the hairstyle features curls defined with extreme precision, among which are embedded tiny floral elements.
The drapery of the robe, rendered with almost tactile realism, is embellished with a sophisticated relief lace border and a garland of roses. The bust rests on a turned spool base, supported by a quadrangular plinth.
On the back, it bears an unidentified signature.
