Refined Set of eight Neapolitan Louis XVI chairs, late eighteenth century. The elegant backs feature the characteristic inverted "Y" shape, typical of Neapolitan production of the period, finely carved and decorated.
The wooden structure is enhanced by rich mecca silver gilding, a decorative technique of great value that gives the surface a soft, iridescent luminosity, particularly appreciated in the aristocratic furniture of the Kingdom of Naples. The carved edges, turned legs, and carved volutes testify to the high quality of execution.
The seats, upholstered in light-colored fabric, maintain a sober elegance that harmoniously dialogues with the rich decoration of the structure.
A homogeneous and rare ensemble, ideal for enriching a dining room or a reception area with the taste and refinement of the late Neapolitan Baroque.
