Luigi XV commode in walnut briar, Ferrara mid-18th century.

Superb commode with two drawers, veneered in beautiful walnut briar of high quality, featuring on the drawers, sides, and the beautiful molded top with cross-grain banding around the entire perimeter. The piece is in excellent condition and only requires minor touch-ups on some scratches in the patina, which can be handled by our restorer. The furniture has its original hardware, and all its components are contemporary. Production area: Carpenters and cabinetmakers from the Ferrara region in the 18th century. The dimensions of the furniture are 136cm length x 85cm maximum depth x 86cm height. A regular certificate of authenticity will be provided upon sale.
