Large and important Napoleon III desk in ebonized mahogany with metal and gilded bronze profiling.
The center desk has a top in finely tooled red leather, four curved legs richly decorated with gilded zoomorphic finials and cherub heads, as well as brass fillets.
The front features five large bombé drawers, giving the desk a harmony that is repeated on the back with five similar "faux" drawers.
