Pair of large palace candle holders in painted wood, featuring shaped representations of triumphant putti holding a garland, six per torchère, each resting on a tripod base.
Furnishings of this type and with such a significant scenic impact were placed in the reception rooms of the most noble palaces. In this case, they were crafted in Tuscany during the 17th century.
The dimensions are 158cm x 86cm x 86cm; to these measurements, the upper iron candle holders (approximately 20cm) should be added.
