Ancient white marble sundial, from a historic Florentine palace. The sundial features the famous Florentine lily sculpted in the upper right corner, while the sculptor's monogram is found in the lower right. At the top is an iron harpoon that marks the hours, also sculpted and indicated with Roman numerals, marking the hours from 8 AM to 3 PM, as the sundial was conceived and placed on the facade of a historic palace. Tuscan-Florentine craftsmanship from the early 19th century.
