An elegant folding outdoor chaise longue, an expression of French taste between the two world wars, combining functionality and lightness with a natural, refined aesthetic. The frame is made of turned wood, left natural, while the seat is entirely upholstered in densely woven rattan, embellished with subtle polychrome inlays that punctuate the vertical lines of the backrest. The careful and durable rattan workmanship testifies to the high-quality craftsmanship characteristic of European production of the period. Excellent condition. Original surface preserved; interventions limited to cleaning and light conservative polishing. Solid structure, well-preserved weave showing natural signs of wear consistent with age.
