The painting, executed by a skilled artist who captures their style and the same atmosphere, directly references the famous canvases with this subject by the two masters. The architecture of the Scuola di S. Marco, illuminated by the sun, is the protagonist at the center of the view, with the Campo dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo. The Canale dei Mendicanti is crossed by the Ponte Cavallo. On the right, a splendid noble palace is reflected in the waters of the canal. The canvas is enlivened by the characteristic figures and typical boats of Venice. The painting has been relined and has a beautiful 19th-century gilded frame.
