The young woman depicted is probably Jane Seymour (c. 1536/37), the third wife of King Henry VIII of England. The portrait shows her in traditional clothing. Oil on panel, unsigned, with the label "Albert Bouts 1632" on the back, craquelure, retouched, thick varnish.
