Magnificent inlaid planter box, French, dating from the Napoleon III period.
The rectangular tabletop of the planter table has rounded corners, features a beautiful lid richly inlaid with various woods in floral patterns, and has two handles and a lovely gilded metal railing; inside it is lined with a removable zinc container. The frieze below the top is equally and richly inlaid. The whole is supported by four elegant legs joined together and enhanced with gilded bronze decorations.
A wonderful piece of furniture that, due to its refined and precious craftsmanship, is capable of creating elegance and prestige in the environment it inhabits.
