Beautiful mahogany veneer table with marble top, Empire style, early 19th century, from France. The table is completely original (see photos) and DOES NOT REQUIRE RESTORATION. The polish was done with shellac using the "wick" technique. The marble top is finished with a molding on the edge, making it more elegant. The top has no cracks. The triangular base is finished with Cuban mahogany veneer and features prominent veining that, with a skilled cabinetmaker, creates very unique effects.
