Beautiful three-door mahogany bookcase in Louis Philippe style, dating to the second half of the 19th century, of French origin.
The bookcase DOES NOT REQUIRE RESTORATION (see photos) and is completely original in all its parts.
The top part is completely detachable.
The interiors (linings and shelves are in light oak); the shelves can be adjusted as desired thanks to the rack system. The lower part is equipped with three doors and pull-out shelves (which were normally used as support for books when one was taking them).
Locks and keys are perfectly functional. The polishing was done with shellac using the "wick" technique. Its dimensions are W 203xD55xH260 cm. If desired, the original "onion" feet can be reattached; the previous owner had removed them for height reasons. The total height will remain 267 cm H.
