Description: Antique French Napoleon III polychrome wood roll-top desk with a green Alpi marble top. Opening the bottom drawer allows access to the central cylinder and the three top drawers. By flipping down the flap, a writing surface is created, covered in green leather gilded with 24 kt gold leaf, above which are drawers and compartments. The four fluted truncated cone legs are adorned with skillfully chased gilded bronzes. General Conditions: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional hand-made shellac and alcohol method.
