Oil on canvas. Signed lower right. On the back, it bears a participation label for the 1928 Venice exhibition. Mountain view of Val Vogna, a small, wild side valley of Valsesia. Trained at the Brera Academy under Tallone, the Milanese artist Ludovico Zambeletti successfully focused on landscape subjects, for which he showed particular sensitivity, while also creating genre and environmental figures and undertaking important portraiture work. The painting has slight paint losses; it requires restoration. Framed.
