Description: Antique center room table in fine exotic woods of French provenance, specifically Nice. The biscuit oval shape with recessed curvilinear edges features a large central medallion with figures in traditional dress. The entire edge of the top features inlaid floral and grotesque motifs alternating with mascarons at the protrusions. The central stem is highlighted by dense inlay and rests on a curvilinear base ending in four always inlaid cabriole legs. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional hand-made shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: Nice, 19th century. Dimensions: 110x84 H77cm.
