DARS704 - Pair of important white marble columns.
The capitals are of the Corinthian order, recognizable by the rich decoration of deeply sculpted acanthus leaves and elegant volutes. The fluted shaft suggests a reference to classicism, reinterpreted in Neoclassical style.
Ideal for placement in a formal garden, at the entrance of a villa, or as scenic elements in a representative courtyard.
19th century.
