DARS701 - Antique and important wooden dome with carved and gilded shell. At the center, a beautiful projecting shell dominates, carved and gilded with leaf, a typical motif of Baroque taste. At the base of the shell, a rich frieze develops with volutes and vegetal motifs, also gilded. The use of lacquer on a faux green Alpi marble lacquered background is masterful. From a valuable architectural furnishing, it is an element of decisive visual and color impact, of great antique value, adaptable to imaginative uses such as a headboard or as furnishing for a prized corner.
