CHM911 - This fireplace is an elegant carved marble specimen, in the Louis XV style. The line is dynamic and sinuous, with a typical "corbeille" shape for the firebox opening, enhanced by a rich central shell and relief foliage motifs. The side uprights are slightly curved and decorated with volutes and vegetal carvings, giving momentum and lightness to the overall piece.
The marble features a beautiful warm and natural veining, varying between cream tones and more rosy hues. The upper mantelpiece, sober but well-proportioned, balances the decorative richness below.
