Very rare prie-dieu, in walnut wood, 18th century.
The piece is characterized by rich pictorial decoration on a dark background, with floral motifs, stylized vegetal elements, and pyrographic landscapes. The upper front features a series of painted panels framed by moldings, with an elegant ornate cartouche in the center, flanked by side reserves with racemes. The upper and lower parts are drop-front, while the front has a small door with a shelf inside.
