Made entirely of walnut wood, it features a refined floral decoration developed on the corners and sides, characterized by sinuous and naturalistic lines typical of Art Nouveau, yet already ordered with a more geometric and modern sensibility. The decorative motif, inspired by the floral repertoire of French origin, recalls the experiences of Émile Gallé and the Nancy School, with an elegant and well-balanced stylization. The decoration is not made with inlay, but rather by direct engraving on the wood with subsequent dark patination, a technique that gives depth and great finesse to the design.
