Elegant carved wooden chairs, lacquered, decorated with gold leaf gilding. The backrest has a sweeping, shaped line with a crest. The painted decoration is developed on a lacquered background in pastel green/powder blue tones, enhanced by gilded reserves and floral sprig motifs in ochre red and pink tones. The seat, upholstered and covered in ivory damask silk, rests on a shaped, carved frieze below with volutes. The front supports are "cabriole" and end in scroll feet, while the rear uprights are sabre-shaped. The rich polychrome decoration and the gold profiling emphasize the elegance and lightness typical of full 18th-century Venetian taste.
