Refined Empire mantel clock, in cast and gilded bronze. The clock features a shaped rectangular base adorned with phytomorphic decorations, and a volute structure with festoons, leaves, and geometric motifs. It is finally topped with an amphora-shaped vase, in neoclassical taste. The clock has a dial, protected by an opening glass, with hours indicated in Roman and Arabic numerals, and gilded bronze hands. It also comes with a key, and the mechanism strikes on the hour and half-hour. This is a clock of great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class to any environment. French manufacture from the Empire period, around the early 19th century.
