Walnut fall-front desk with inlay and central maple vase. Four drawers in the front, the first, smaller, flanked by two shelf-support pull-out leaves for the fall-front. Interior compartment with open shelves and drawers, leather insert on the top. Bracket feet, flush brass escutcheons, and partially replaced handles in worked and gilded sheet metal, one of which is damaged. Fir interior and back. England, late 18th Century.
