The piece of furniture is characterized by refined craftsmanship with rich veined patterns and a sinuous shape of the front and sides. The drop-down top conceals an internal writing desk compartment. Six small drawers are located below the drop-down lid, useful for storing stationery or small items. A further compartment opens on the upper surface. The lower part consists of three large drawers with shaped fronts, adorned with finely crafted bronze handles and escutcheons, contemporary with the rest of the furniture. The slant-top desk is embellished with cabriole legs.
