Shaped frame with rocaille repertoire of volutes, foliage, and stylized shells, completed by a dynamic upper crest. The carving features the typical naturalistic motifs of the Genoese "pellaccia" (leather-like carving), characteristic of Ligurian production in the mid-18th century.
