The circular tabletop is made of fine Vert Payolle, an elegant light pink marble with intense green veining; furthermore, the top is edged in gilded bronze.
The frieze is decorated with gilded bronze stars, and the trilobate base is punctuated by finely detailed gilded sphinxes and rests on animalistic feet, surmounted by a decor of gilded friezes and palmettes.
