Refined, finely carved solid walnut wood base, of good height. The base has a square support point, and two everted legs, ending with feral paws and joined in the center by a crosspiece. Noteworthy are the refined carvings, characterized by geometric, phytomorphic and figurative motifs, which give further elegance to the whole, reminiscent of the Renaissance style. It is a base that can be used as a sculpture or bust holder, capable of giving a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. Tuscan manufacture, in the neo-Renaissance style, from the second half of the 19th century.
