Elegant small rectangular box in hand-carved ebony. The lid features a Florentine inlay of hard stones, representing carnations, which lends elegance to the object. The box opens with a small key, revealing the interior. This box was used as a glove box, but can be used to hold small objects. It is a unique object, of great refinement and elegance, in perfect condition. Florentine manufacture of the mid-19th century.
