Important pair of large (16 cm diameter) knockers made of solid bronze, characterized by a refined plastic workmanship. The elements have a ring-shaped structure with a circular section, embellished with relief decorations that recall phytomorphic motifs and zoomorphic stylizations typical of cultivated architectural ornamentation.
The lower part of each knocker is finished with an acorn or central bulb element, flanked by chiselled volutes that give dynamism and solemnity to the artifact. The upper part retains the original iron pins necessary for fixing to the wooden doors.
