Description:
Elegant chest of drawers veneered in exotic wood burl, with a "bookmatched" top. The chest of drawers features pineapple feet in gilt wood and columns with caryatids at the corners, whose feet and sphinx faces are ebonized, while the echinus and hair are in gilt wood. The chest of drawers consists of three drawers, the one under the top being smaller in size, which can be opened with gilt bronze pulls, and are ergonomically designed for storing objects. It is a chest of drawers of great class and refinement, capable of furnishing any environment with elegance. Lucchese manufacture (Tuscany, Italy), from the Empire period, early 19th century.
