Elegant French Bureau Plat – Napoleon III Period
Splendid Louis XV style French center desk dating back to the second half of the 19th century (Napoleon III period). The piece of furniture combines the sinuous lines of the 18th century with the craftsmanship of 19th century Parisian cabinetmaking.

Materials and Inlay: Entirely veneered in bois de rose with a refined parquetry work (geometric cube/diamond pattern) that creates an elegant play of light and grain on the entire surface of the top and sides.
Design: Wavy line on all sides, typical of the rocaille style, with agile cabriole legs.
Bronze Details: Enriched by gilded and chiseled bronze applications on the profiles of the top, on the "chutes" (shoulders of the legs) with floral and foliage motifs, and terminal shoes on the feet.
