Pair of Neorenaissance Majolica Amphorae, Central Italy, Late 19th Century

Pair of majolica amphorae decorated with grand feu on a blue background with a vegetal scroll motif. The reserves at the center of the ovoid body are painted with allegorical-mythological scenes, with winged cherubs. The mouth, with a mixtilinear rim, is very jagged. The saddle-shaped handles are in the shape of snakes. Product Condition: Item in good condition, with signs of conservative restoration ready for retouching that does not compromise the aesthetic enjoyment of the item at all.
