This stunning flame walnut bookcase on sideboard dates back to circa 1870, it is a Louis Philippe two-part cabinet of French origin.
It comes from a private residence in Milan and it is in good age related condition. Restored a few years ago by the property, some cracks on the sides have been repaired, it has a lovely warm bee wax finish.
It is an elegant antique storage cabinet, whose structure is realized with oak and poplar, the jutting curved upper part is decorated with walnut burl and has a molded frames above two glazed doors, interior is lined with Varese paper and fitted with three shelves. Original working locks.
In the lower part, two drawers above a large storage area with one internal shelf. Rising on stepped bracket feet.
