Oil on canvas. Traditional landscape thick with vegetation, with a waterway on the lower left, bordered by paths on which some figures pass, including the one in the foreground dressed as a Roman soldier, who seems to have been detached from the squad that, in the center, is moving away. Already subjected to restoration and relining in the past (new frame), the painting has minor damage on the right. It is presented in a late 19th-century gilded frame, readjusted.
