Magnificent Louis XIV coin cabinet with a two-door opening front and a rich internal chest of drawers arranged around a central door.
It is entirely inlaid with precious woods with very fine geometric decorations in light and dark colors.
The inlaid decorations cover both doors externally and internally with a highly effective image whether the cabinet is open or closed.
The color of the wood essences is remarkable, exceptionally warm and bright with a splendid golden patina.
The coin cabinet has always been considered the rarest and most selective piece of furniture in the history of antique furniture, an emblematic object that distinguished the richest and most powerful families, and could not be missing from large reception halls.
We emphasize the exceptional state of preservation and the total absence of any restoration.
The cabinet is absolutely authentic in all its external and internal parts, including the important locks and all metal finishes.
We issue a stamped and signed certificate of authenticity that guarantees the period, origin, and all characteristics of the work, prepared by an antiquarian affiliated with FIMA (ITALIAN FEDERATION OF ART MERCHANTS).
Delivery in Italy and throughout Europe within 3 days of receipt of bank transfer.
The shipment is tracked and insured and travels with careful shockproof packaging inside a custom-made wooden crate.
