PAN437 - Important painted solid wood frame, 18th century, of Italian manufacture.
The element has a rectangular structure with molded uprights and architrave, embellished with a refined pictorial decoration with repeated ornamental motifs, made by hand on a light background with contrasting dark shades. The design, characterized by racemes, volutes and stylized Baroque motifs, gives rhythm and elegance to the whole.
The external frame, finished in a darker shade, frames and enhances the internal decorative apparatus, creating a pleasant perspective effect. The surface retains an evocative antique patina with natural signs of aging, which attest to its authenticity and historicity.
