Description:
Venetian corner cabinet in arte povera, made of fruit wood (probably apple or pear) and dating back to the late nineteenth century.
The moved shape with multifaceted sides and cup-shaped front feet recalls the Bassano and Vicenza tradition, with simple but elegant lines typical of Venetian home furnishings. The wood has a beautiful compact grain, enhanced by a warm walnut tone.
Structure with three upper drawers and four lower doors, with functional interiors. The drawer fronts are original; the interiors of the two side drawers were redone at a later date, while the central drawer is intact.
Good general condition. Wear and tear and the top varnish need to be reviewed.
Measurements: width 164 cm, depth 51 cm, height 104 cm.
