We offer this spectacular Italian wrought iron bed dating back to the first half of the 19th century. This bed features elaborate wrought iron decorations with numerous curls, volutes and brass knobs. The iron is entirely handmade. Embellished with hand-painted golden ornamental details, it adds a unique visual touch. The bed is in good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age (see all photos). Please note that for an item like this, any signs of wear are a feature that adds value and distinctive character. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DIMENSIONS: This bed is a double bed, but it is of the so-called "French" size. Its internal measurements are: Width 147 cm / 57.874 inches Depth 199 cm / 78.3465 inches You will therefore need to purchase a standard 140 x 190 cm mattress. Note: The bed will be shipped disassembled; assembly is not included, but we can provide a video with assembly instructions if needed. Please check the internal and external measurements carefully before placing an order. Please note that the slats and mattress are not included.
