ARM269 - Antique two-door wardrobe in solid walnut, 18th century, measures cm L 150 x H 213 x D 55
Description:
ARM269 - Important Italian wardrobe with two hinged doors, made of solid walnut wood.
The front is punctuated by refined panelling with shaped and moulded panels, with elegant carved geometric motifs that recall the late Baroque taste of the central-northern area. The doors each have three panels, finely worked and framed by robust mouldings that give depth and movement to the surface.
The structure is solid and proportionate, with an overhanging upper hat and a moulded base resting on shaped feet. The warm tone of the walnut, with evident grain, enhances the quality of the wood and the natural patina matured over time, a testimony to the authenticity of the furniture.
18th century period.
