The antique floral still life painting features a vase of spring flowers, possibly hydrangeas or Viburnum flowers, also known as snowball or snowballs.
The antique artwork is a beautiful oil painting on canvas depicting a refined bouquet of cut flowers arranged in a vase, with a harmonious composition of white and red flowers, likely hydrangeas and garden flowers, resting on a surface covered with a warm-toned cloth.
The brushwork is loose and textured, typical of French painting from the late 19th to early 20th century, with skillful use of light that highlights the floral volumes and creates a delicate contrast with the neutral background. European Impressionism.
