SET OF EIGHT MAHOGANY ARMCHAIRS, CHARLES X PERIOD, FIRST HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY
Description:
Refined set of eight armchairs in finely carved solid mahogany wood. The armchairs feature curved legs on the front and saber legs on the back. Their particularity is also given by the armrests, carved with a scroll decoration. The armchairs are also upholstered in refined fabric, of which three in red velvet, and five in green velvet. Small defects are noted. This is a series of great taste and refinement armchairs, able to give a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. French manufacture of the Charles X period, around the first half of the 19th century.
