Magnificent and important travel writing desk with precious inlaid decoration featuring geometric motifs in ivory and rosewood. The writing desk is bordered by original bronze applications. The upper part opens with an original key, accompanied by its working lock. Inside, we find several letter holders. A tab at the top allows the opening of a storage space. All the interiors are in maple wood, and the writing surface has its original burgundy velvet. The desk is complete with two original inkwells and a pen holder. 19th century. Napoleon III period.
